I am was planning a trip of upwards two weeks to Leh in the region of Ladakh in India in September. As I get ther I will have a few days of acclimatisation then do an easier 4-5 day homestay trek and finally try to summit a 6000+ meter mountain.
All treks, accommodation, transport and guides will be organised beforehand. I have a friend who has done this previously and I will be using his recommended company and guides.
Please join me if your feel like!

Summit Stok Kangri
Stok Kangri is one of the most beautiful peaks in Ladakh. The climb is technically not difficult, and requires no special mountaineering skills. It gives you a real opportunity to climb a 6150m mountain in less than a week, which is not possible in any other part of the world. The summit presents one of the most spectacular views of the Saser peak in the Karakoram Range, where the K2 lies.
